COVID-19 School Closure

Our first priority is to ensure the health and well-being of our community. At this time, following the direction of the Ontario Ministry of Education, BSS will remain closed through the remainder of the school year. Our distance learning program is continuing, and we will update our community as plans for reopening evolve.

How we are responding

We have implemented a distance learning plan and are actively supporting our boarding students through this challenging time. Regular updates to families, plus other resources and supports, are available on our community portal, myBSS.

To further support our students and parents, our Wellness Centre, School Counsellors, School Psychologist and Chaplain are available and accessible online or by phone. Additionally, a variety of wellness, parenting and learning resources are available on myBSS. Families may access contact info and resources through myBSS.

We have postponed or cancelled some important events. Student and parent event information will be posted on myBSS. Alumnae event information will be posted on BSS Connect.

This is an unprecedented situation, and we thank you for your understanding.  We are tracking this situation very closely and are committed to providing clear and timely communications to our community.  Thank you.
