
Carling Hay ’02 makes waves with groundbreaking scientific research
Dr. Carling HAY ’02 is one of many BSS alumnae making her mark on the world. This week, she had her research published in the prestigious international weekly journal of science, Nature. Articles followed on The BBC and New York Times. Dr. Hay is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard (2012-present); she has a PhD from U of T (Atmospheric Physics and Geophysics), 2012 — where she developed an advanced statistical method for analyzing 20th century sea-level records. She earned a BSc from McGill (Physics) in 2006. In all that, she finds time to act as BSS Year Rep for her class. Congratulations, Carling!
