Dr. Kristen Clarke
Dean of Teaching and Learning
Dr. Clarke has been the Dean of Teaching and Learning since 2020.
Previously, she was the Vice Principal of Teaching and Learning in the Senior School at BSS. Prior to joining BSS, Kristen was the Assessment Coordinator for the Peel District School Board. She has extensive experience as a classroom teacher, department head, post-secondary instructor, facilitator and instructional coach, and has worked in the areas of large scale assessment in Ontario and nationally. Kristen continues to teach at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and acts as a mentor for women through the Women in Leadership organization.
Kristen holds degrees in Political Science (BA), Women’s Studies (MLitt), Curriculum (MEd), and Educational Leadership (PhD). Kristen’s research and professional interest lies at the intersection of leadership, equity and student learning. Kristen is also a proud BSS parent.
