Named to the Order of Ontario in 2012, Phyllis has chaired the Ontario Mental Health Foundation and the Addiction Research Foundation’s clinical institute, and was made a Canon of the Anglican Church, a high honour rarely bestowed upon a lay person. A member of the Raging Grannies and BSS history teacher, Phyllis has dedicated her life to improving the world for us all in the most profound and important ways.
