Update on School Closure
This afternoon, the Ontario government provided an update on COVID-19 projections and announced additional lockdown measures to help slow the transmission. As of Thursday, January 14 at 12:01 am, an Ontario-wide state of emergency and a stay-at-home order will be in effect for at least 28 days.
As part of the stay-at-home measures, Ontario schools have been ordered to remain closed to in-person learning until February 10 at the earliest, in Windsor-Essex, Peel Region, Toronto, York and Hamilton. BSS will continue to provide remote learning to our students in JK - Grade 12. Current families can access further information through our community portal, myBSS. We will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves.
