Global Learning & the Muslim Student Union Present "Enemy of the Reich" - May 19
Join Global Learning and the Muslim Student Union for a virtual screening of the film Enemy of the Reich: The Noor Inayat Khan Story, which depicts the life of a Muslim war heroine during World War II.
Following the film, we are pleased to host Dr. Wafaa Hasan and Ibtihaj Muhammad for a panel discussion on feminism and Islam. Dr. Hasan is an international lecturer, author and scholar, currently teaching in the Women's and Gender Studies Institute at the University of Toronto. Olympic medalist Ibtihaj Muhammad is the first Muslim American woman to wear hijab while competing for the United States in the Olympics.
