Mosaic of Marks, Words, Material Exhibition and Atelier

The Ontario Reggio Association, in collaboration with BSS, is excited to host the upcoming travelling exhibit from Reggio Emilia, Italy called the Mosaic of Marks, Words, Material Exhibition and Atelier
This exhibit tells the story of research done in Reggio Emilia about children’s mark making, drawing, narrative, storytelling and how the exploration of different materials evokes and inspires different mark making experiences. The last travelling exhibit from Reggio Emilia came to Toronto seven years ago, and the previous one was hosted 10 years earlier. This March will be the first time an exhibit has been hosted at BSS.

The Mosaic of Marks, Words, Material exhibition and atelier will be installed and on display in the Great Hall from March 19 - April 12. It will be open to the public and free of charge on the weekends, evenings and during the second week of March break. This exhibit is focused on the work and research of young learners, but all educators and people working with students can be inspired by the depth of thinking and reflection in this exhibit. You are invited to view the exhibit on the following dates:

March 19 - 26, April 1 - 2, April 7 | 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
