BSS: Celebrating 150 Years
We don’t look our age, it’s true. But here we are, celebrating 150 years of excellence in education. Founded in the year of Canada’s Confederation, we can look back proudly at having moved girls’ education out of the dark ages and into the stratosphere. As we mark our 150th, we honour every student who has passed through our doors – from the first day of school in 1867 to this September. It’s been quite a ride – and we want you on it as we celebrate all that has come before, and all that is yet to be.

The Making of an Anthem
Explore the learning process and the beautiful music that emerges from it. BSS vocal and music students, their teachers and musician/composer/BSS past parent Stephan Moccio, take us on a journey of creativity as a new anthem is created in honour of our 150th.
