  • myBSS

Our secure community portal, myBSS, is your one-stop-shop for applying online and staying in touch during the application and decision-making process. Once you begin an online application, you will be able to pause, save and resume your application at any time. We will also send you updates and further information (such as details on applying for Financial Assistance or scholarships) through myBSS.

Interview

We strive to bring together a diverse group of students. Each one contributes her own personalities, skills and strengths. Interviews are informal and are intended to help us get to know each other in person. This is your chance to ask questions about the BSS experience, and for your daughter to share her background, interests, goals and ideas.

Please note that, at this time, all interviews will be conducted remotely in keeping with recommendations from public health authorities. We will provide detailed information on how to connect prior to your interview.

  • Junior School (Junior Kindergarten - Grade 6)

Meeting our prospective students and their families is a key part of our Admissions process at BSS. We will be interviewing students and parents in JK, Grades 1, 3, 4 and 6. Interviews will occur from October through mid-February. For SK and Grades 2 and 5, interviews and assessments will only occur as space becomes available.
  • Middle and Senior School (Grades 7 - 11)

The prospective student will be interviewed one-on-one by a member of the Student Recruiting team. Parents will also have the chance to meet the team and ask any outstanding questions they may have. The interview is a chance to get to know you more, and there is no need to prepare in advance.

Assessment

BSS is a challenging school where students take ownership of their learning. Our assessment is designed to evaluate your daughter’s numeracy, literacy and interpersonal skills so we understand her strengths and needs. She does not need to study or prepare anything in advance.
