As time passed, I noticed a powerful duality in the BSS culture: a reverence for the school’s history and an unwavering commitment to its future. As I step into the role of Head of School, I am incredibly proud to lead The Bishop Strachan School into a dynamic new season. 

While we begin a fresh new era of leadership, our dedication to our mission is steadfast. We remain fiercely committed to cultivating an environment where girls ask bold questions, take risks, lead with empathy and courage, and grow into their truest selves. Yesterday, today and tomorrow, we continue to inspire girls to be fearless and educate them to be leaders. 

A BSS education is defined by academic excellence, combined with a rich array of co-curricular opportunities that help every student find her unique passion. From Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12, our exceptional faculty create challenging learning experiences that encourage girls to think deeply, question assumptions and engage ethically with diverse perspectives. Our approach to learning ensures students don't just acquire knowledge — they make, create, listen and take action. Ultimately, this journey shapes BSS graduates into ethical citizens who possess the grit, curiosity and strong voice needed to lead. Empowered by dedicated mentors and lifelong relationships within a diverse, inclusive community, they are able to confidently dive into school life.
