In the Middle and Senior School, we encourage active, purposeful learning. Students ask tough questions, explore complex ideas, conduct thorough research and come up with solutions to real-world problems.
Inquiry-based learning builds on the idea that students are naturally curious and keen to learn and act in the world. Students are inspired by meaningful assignments that tackle real-world problems. Through the process of puzzling things out and sometimes failing, they gain understanding that sticks. With an equity mindset, students learn to tune in and respond to bias and inequity, whether they are analysing a text, conducting research or designing a prototype.
