  • What is involved in the BSS assessment?

    Junior School
Junior and Senior Kindergarten applicants come together in small groups and spend time in our classroom, engaging in fun activities with our teachers. Applicants in Grades 1 - 6 also complete a math and English test, as well as group activities and games.

    Middle and Senior School
BSS offers an engaging and challenging academic program where students take ownership of their learning. Our assessment is designed to evaluate your child's numeracy, literacy and interpersonal skills so that we understand their unique strengths and learning needs. Students will complete an age-appropriate math assessment and written task based on a reading passage. There is no need to study or prepare anything in advance.

We will host all Grade 7 and 9 applicants on campus in December 2024 and January 2025. You will have the option to select one of two available dates. Students applying internationally will have the option to complete the assessment virtually on one of these two dates.
