Dominique HUSSEY ’91 is one of the country’s top intellectual property litigators, and was the first Black woman appointed managing partner at a Bay Street firm.
At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dominique was appointed managing partner at Bennett Jones. It was a milestone in a career filled with them, and she was just 46 years old. Dominique was inundated with congratulatory phone calls and also faced an immense task: to keep the firm — its finances, its lawyers — healthy in the midst of an unprecedented crisis.
