Guiding Students Towards Their Post-Secondary Path

Our comprehensive University Counselling program helps students identify post-secondary pathways that align with their strengths, interests and aspirations. The Class of 2026 has already received admission to highly competitive universities, as shown by early offers from institutions in Canada, the US, the UK and beyond.
Our counsellors guide students to make informed, meaningful choices about their futures. Through rigorous academics and rich co-curricular experiences, students develop the curiosity, self-awareness and critical thinking skills needed to build a strong, authentic university plan. Just as importantly, our emphasis on independence, problem-solving and self-efficacy ensures students are prepared not only to be admitted to university, but to succeed once they arrive.

At BSS, university preparation is a thoughtful, personalized process that begins early and evolves as students grow. Beginning in Grades 7 and 8, students are encouraged to explore their interests and imagine a range of possibilities. As they progress through Grades 9 to 12, they receive individualized counselling, participate in targeted workshops, research universities, plan their courses strategically and receive expert guidance through the application process. Our counsellors work closely with families and bring deep expertise in global post-secondary institutions, helping each student find universities that are an excellent fit.

We are proud that our graduates consistently earn offers from highly ranked universities with competitive admissions rates. Their success reflects not only strong academic preparation, but also the leadership, global perspective and sense of purpose that define a BSS education.
