Powering the BSS Mission
As we celebrate National Volunteer Week, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the more than 600 volunteers — including parents, alumnae and friends — who serve as essential partners in advancing our mission.
From classroom guest speakers and event coordinators to our dedicated Parent Association, Board members and Grade Representatives, our volunteers contribute more than 1,000 hours of expertise and leadership annually. Whether they are mentoring students or shaping school policy, their generosity directly enriches the student experience and strengthens our community. How can you get involved?

- Recognize a volunteer who goes above and beyond! The deadline to submit nominations for our annual Volunteer Recognition Award is this Friday, April 24. The award is open to any BSS parent or alumna who has made outstanding contributions in support of the school. Each year, up to three volunteers are selected by the Development Committee of the BSS Board of Governors and honoured at our annual recognition event.
- Save the Date! Join us to celebrate your impact in person at our volunteer reception, An Evening of Appreciation, on June 1. An official invitation is coming soon.
