Valerie P '27

Valerie competes in cross-country and track, and is an elite table tennis player outside BSS. She leads the avionics sub-team for the BSS rocketry team (the first all-girls high school team to compete at Launch Canada). She also mentors Middle School students in robotics and is a Student Ambassador. She co-founded Second-Life Technology, a non-profit that refurbishes electronics for underserved communities, and is CTO of STEM-Up, introducing robotics to young girls. Valerie was a national finalist in the Future Business Leaders of Canada competition, and she plans to pursue engineering or applied science, with a focus on tech and venture capital.
