Congratulations, Class of 2026!
Every graduating class tells a story. The Class of 2026 will be remembered for their curiosity, drive and willingness to pursue opportunities with confidence and purpose.
Throughout their time at BSS these students have challenged themselves academically, contributed meaningfully to community life and supported one another through both successes and setbacks. As they prepare to graduate, they leave behind a legacy of leadership, kindness and engagement that has enriched BSS and beyond.
This year, students have earned spots at top universities in Canada and around the world. The offers reflect not only strong academic achievement, but years of personal growth, leadership, resilience and contributions to school life. We are excited to share several highlights:
- The Class of 2026 received 713 offers from Canadian Universities, 190 offers from US institutions and 47 offers from universities in the UK, Ireland and around the world.
- Acceptances at Canadian universities include:
- McGill University (48 offers, including Management, Science, Arts & Science and Engineering)
- McMaster University (42 offers, including Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences)
- Queens University (107 offers, including Commerce, Engineering and Health Sciences)
- The University of British Columbia (15 offers, including Business, Engineering and Science)
- The University of Toronto (73 offers, including Life Sciences, Engineering and Rotman Commerce)
- Western University (133 offers, including Medical Sciences, Ivy AEO, Health Sciences and Engineering)
- The University of Waterloo (34 offers, including Engineering and Computer Science)
- In the United States, students have been accepted to some of the most selective schools across the country, including:
- East Coast: Cornell University (2 offers), Dartmouth College, Johns Hopkins University (3 offers), Georgetown University, New York University (9 offers), Tufts University (3 offers), Boston University (5 offers), Northeastern University (10 offers), Wellesley College, Wesleyan University and Colby College.
- Midwest: Northwestern University, the University of Notre Dame (2 offers), Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Michigan (4 offers) and Carleton College.
- West Coast: University of California campuses, including Berkeley, Los Angeles (7 offers), Irvine (7 offers), San Diego (5 offers), Santa Barbara (4 offers) and the University of Southern California (13 offers).
- South: Vanderbilt University, Rice University, Tulane University (4 offers), Wake Forest University (2 offers), Emory University (2 offers) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
- Esteemed offers to schools in the UK, Ireland and around the world include:

- IE University in Spain

- The Class of 2026 received scholarship offers totaling almost $6 million, the highest scholarship total in BSS history.
- Notable awards include the Queen's University Chancellor Scholarship and the Syracuse University Coronat Scholars Program Scholarship.
- Graduates also received significant entrance and merit scholarships from institutions including Western University, the University of Miami, Queen's University, UC Davis, Berklee College of Music, Brandeis University and the University of Toronto, among many others.
Students in this year’s graduating class pursued an impressive breadth of interests, with offers in fields ranging from forensic psychology, veterinary medicine, architecture, visual arts and film studies to biomedical, mechanical and motorsport engineering. Reflecting this breadth, 44% of students pursued programs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), 25% in the arts, humanities and social sciences, 17% in business, and 9% in the fine and performing arts.
More than the universities themselves, these outcomes and more reflect the character of the Class of 2026. These post-secondary pathways recognize not only academic excellence, but also leadership, creativity, community engagement and exceptional achievement both inside and outside the classroom. As they take their next steps, we are confident that they will learn boldly, lead with purpose and embody the attributes of the Signature of a BSS Girl.
