High Performance Athlete Program

Our High Performance Athlete Program (HPAP) is designed to support student-athletes competing at provincial, national or international level.
Funded through generous donor support, this specialized program recognizes the unique challenges of elite athletes and provides tailored resources so they can succeed, both in their sport and in the classroom. 

HPAP participants benefit from flexible academic scheduling, allowing them to balance rigorous training and competition schedules with their commitment to academic excellence. Through additional training opportunities, well-being workshops and expert guidance, student-athletes are empowered to perform at their best - physically, mentally and academically. Eligible students may also earn course credit as part of their participation in the program.

What We Offer

  • Academic advising to help students balance their external athletic pursuits with their studies.

  • Mentoring opportunities that foster connections with both peers and athletic experts.

  • Workshops on nutrition, mindfulness and self-care to enhance students’ overall well-being and emotional resilience.

  • Sessions on goal-setting, visualization and relaxation techniques to manage stress and enhance performance.

  • Tailored strength training programs developed in collaboration with our Fitness and Wellness Coordinator that align with external teams and coaches.
  • PSAT and SAT preparation for students interested in pursuing collegiate athletics.
