Carrying On Terry's Legacy
This year, we were honoured to take part in the 45th anniversary of the Terry Fox Run, continuing Terry’s inspiring legacy of resilience and hope.
Bringing together all grades from JK to Grade 12, the event was an opportunity for students to unite, get active, and support cancer research. Junior School students participated in fun age-appropriate laps around the Upper Field, proudly cheered on by their classmates, parents and teachers, while Middle and Senior School students had the choice to walk or run a 5 km route through the neighbourhood. The energy was high as students gave it their best and crossed the finish line with smiles and determination.
After the run, the celebration carried on at our Welcome Back Community Event. Families and staff gathered for food, games, music and activities. It was a joyful way to reconnect, welcome new faces and set the tone for an exciting year ahead.
