Held monthly from October to April, this series features alumnae employed in the fields of health sciences, STEM, business, humanities, arts and more. Each panellist shares their educational pathway, a typical day in their career, and challenges they have faced. These sessions offer concrete examples of career possibilities and inspire senior students as they consider their next steps.
Clare Sheasgreen is a nurse psychotherapist and a Clinical Lead in the Child, Youth & Family Service at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She began her career as a Registered Nurse on the eating disorder and psychiatry unit at the Hospital for Sick Children before completing psychotherapy training and a thesis-based Master of Nursing. In her current role, she provides clinical supervision and guides teams in integrating evidence-based care. Clare specializes in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for adolescents with complex mental health needs, and is committed to strengthening Ontario’s public mental health system.
Dr. Glicksman is a pediatric respirologist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. She attended medical school at Queen’s University, and completed a paediatric residency at The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and a fellowship in respiratory medicine at The Hospital for Sick Children. She has a Master of Science in Community Health, specializing in Health Practitioner Teacher Education, from the University of Toronto. She has worked in private practice, as well as in community and academic hospital settings. Her clinical work focuses on children with medical complexity and dependence on medical technology.
Dr. Brent is an OBGYN resident doctor at the University of Toronto. As a resident, she has obtained training in obstetrics and gynaecologic surgery, assisting girls and women with reproductive health issues across the lifespan. She has published several scientific papers on a range of topics including gynaecologic oncology, menopause and obstetrics. Prior to obtaining her MD from McMaster University, she completed her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and worked as an epidemiologist focused on pandemic prediction. She will be completing her residency in 2026 and starting a practice as a general OBGYN in Ottawa.

Ariana MAUBACH '14Ariana is a Canadian mezzo-soprano currently performing with the Canadian Opera Company (COC). In the 2025-26 season, she will make her COC debut as Berta in
Il barbiere di Siviglia and cover roles in
Roméo et Juliette, Orfeo ed Euridice, and
Il barbiere di Siviglia. She recently appeared as Hazel Ying Lee in the world premiere of
Fearless at Opera Delaware and performed with the Merola Opera Program in San Francisco, where she will make her role debut as Carmen in
La Tragédie de Carmen in 2026. Ariana was awarded First Prize and Audience Choice at the COC Ensemble Competition and was a National Semifinalist in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition.
Kendra WILLIAMS '10Kendra is an actress with over 20 years of experience working in theatre, film, television and voice over. She’s performed on stages across the U.S. and Canada and made her film debut in a thriller called
Killer Coworker for Lifetime in 2022. This month, Kendra has auditioned for projects on Netflix, CBS and Hallmark, and is the voice of Tangerine Bank’s Raptors commercial. She also works as a marketing director to support her acting career. Kendra has trained internationally in Carnegie Mellon’s Pre-College Drama Program, Scottish Youth Theatre in Glasgow and the Interlochen Center for the Arts, which led her to earn her BFA in acting from the University of Michigan. In Grade 12, she applied to 16 universities between Canada and the US, which involved intense audition prep on top of the SATs, so she’s happy to support students on similar paths, wishing to pursue a career in acting.
Luciana SANTAGUIDA '09Luciana is a wellness expert, professional musician and business owner. She is the founder of NÜLOVE and Sunflower Garden, two businesses putting wellness and music in the forefront of both corporations and the public. She has over 15 years experience leading groups through wellness activities and producing events. She has performed and led events globally for more than 500,000 people, been featured in the Toronto Star, CP24, CHCH News, and worked with clients such as RBC, EY, Evian, Four Seasons and many more. Her mission that drives all her work is to create more awareness in humanity and reconnect us all to our hearts, one song at a time, one class at a time.
