International Public Speaking Success
Bravo to our public speaking team on an incredible performance at the International Independent Schools’ Public Speaking Competition in Portland, Maine.
Three students spent five days competing in multiple rounds of public speaking with over a hundred high school students from different countries. Charlotte G '27 placed second in Extemporaneous Speech, Nabeeha S '27 placed second in Radio Podcast, and Layla S '26 performed so well in her rounds of Persuasive Speech, Impromptu Speaking and Interpretive Reading that she has earned a spot on Team Canada heading to the world championships in the spring.
