Our Campus

We’re lucky to live at the intersection of old and new. Beautiful stained glass and leaded windows characterize our 100-year-old building while gleaming glass and wide open spaces mark our stunning 12-year-old Junior School. Added to the mix is an arts-science-athletics complex opening in spring 2017 that guarantees to astound. All these spaces come together to make one unique and exhilarating campus. The only thing missing? You. Come see us soon!

Getting here

Many of our staff and students take public transit to school. The 512 St. Clair streetcars from St. Clair West or St. Clair/Yonge subway stations stop a few short blocks from 298 Lonsdale Road. Some take the Route 5 bus and walk in from Avenue Road.

If you’re driving, please note that there is extremely limited visitors’ parking on campus so leave lots of time to find street or lot parking in the neighbourhood. Street parking around the campus opens up after 10 am on weekdays and, after 5 pm, you are welcome to park in vacated staff parking spots when you’re on BSS business.

The Bishop Strachan School is committed to providing accommodation for persons with disabilities. If you require accommodations, please contact Elisabeth Gsoels, Administrative Assistant, Human Resources and Finance at 416-483-4325, ext. 1163 or by email at egsoels@bss.on.ca.

If we build it…

Our campus is transforming as we speak. There will soon be a beautiful and functional new place for students to collaborate and explore, with a science lab, music room, theatre and art room among the offerings. It’s taking shape now, all because of our generous community. Follow the construction progress. For information on construction, call Elisabeth Gsoels at 416-483-4325, ext. 1163.
