Layla S '26

Layla is a varsity basketball, volleyball and tennis athlete. She served as Walsh House Head in 2024-25, is the Initiatives Prefect and is a long-time BSS Ambassador. She is a three-time national and international qualifier in public speaking and debate, and co-founded a nonprofit bringing tennis to under-resourced youth. Layla holds a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and is exploring future pathways in medicine, law, applied math and political science. She is passionate about neuroscience, values interdisciplinary learning, loves to read and hopes to attend a top U.S. university.
