    Junior School, Grade 5

    Ms. Embrey has spent the last 14 years teaching in the Junior School and was excited to see some of the students from her first JK class graduate in June 2020. Prior to coming to BSS, she taught in Bangkok at a Reggio-inspired school where her interest in our pedagogical style was sparked.

    Middle School, Grade 8 Social Studies

    Ms. Vanclief has worked in almost every corner of the school in her more than 20 years at BSS. She has taught in the Senior School, worked in Boarding, directed the Summer Academy and, for the last 10 years, has been teaching Middle School students.

    Krishpa Kotecha

    Senior School, Mathematics

    Ms. Kotecha has been teaching at BSS for 18 years and currently teaches Senior School mathematics. A former financial advisor and tax specialist, a project early in her career working with the Canada Revenue Agency reignited her love of math and led to a master’s degree in which she discovered a knack for teaching.
