Iconic Art Sparks Connection in New York City
An unforgettable event in New York City brought together parents and alumnae from the Classes of 1989–2025 for an evening of connection and community.
The gathering began at Gagosian, with a discussion led by BSS parent Nick Simunovic with art luminaries Kara Vander Weg and Cecilia Alemani on opportunities for women in the art world and the growing influence of female collectors, set against the backdrop of Roy Lichtenstein’s iconic work. The festivities continued steps away at Wildflower, where we reconnected with familiar faces and formed new friendships over delicious food and conversation.
We also shared a heartfelt farewell to Dr. Terpstra as she concludes her remarkable nine years as Head of School - an especially meaningful moment to recognize her leadership.Thank you to all who joined us!
