Weekly Chapel Services
Students at BSS attend Chapel once a week. Chapels are an inclusive version of the Anglican morning prayer service, consisting of prayers, readings, reflections and music led by members of the Chapel Council, other students and our Chaplain. Each service begins with a Land Acknowledgement as part of our commitment to fostering reconciliation with Indigenous peoples. Students have the opportunity to share their insights and experiences as thought-leaders amongst their peers. They learn about the diverse religious and spiritual traditions within our student body and wider community, and encounter perspectives from historically marginalized groups through student-led initiatives, such as Black History and Excellence Month, Pride and Mental Health Awareness Week.
